“Heart and Soul” is a heavily textured abstract painting by Kathryn Gruber.

Thick layers of vibrant colour applied to create a sense of depth and dimensionality. The composition evokes the landscape, opening up a visual commentary on the relationship and congruence between them.

Our sense of place exists both within and without. “Heart and Soul” aims to convey a sense of harmony and balance between inner and outer worlds.
