It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update — and what a year it’s been!
Earlier this year, I was preparing for an exhibition at Sugar, but when it was cancelled at the last minute, it left me feeling very flat. On top of that, I managed to get tennis elbow in my painting arm (and no, I still haven’t played a game of tennis 😅). It’s taken a lot of rehab to get it almost back to normal. 1/10 – do not recommend!
But I kept painting, and I’m glad I did. Because in the middle of all this, a new opportunity came along: I was invited to join T’Arts Collective Gallery in Gays Arcade, just off Adelaide Arcade. You’ll now find a selection of my work there year-round, and it’s been such a joy to be part of this vibrant community of South Australian artists.
The body of work I had been creating for the postponed exhibition — a series exploring trees, memory, and movement in layered mixed media — is now on show there. It’s been wonderful to share it with a wider audience and to be part of such a vibrant community of South Australian artists.
📍 You’ll find my work at:
T’Arts Collective
10G Gay’s Arcade (inside Adelaide Arcade)
Rundle Mall
Adelaide, South Australia,
Open 7 days a week.
Thank you for supporting me through the ups and downs — I can’t wait for you to see these works in person.
— Kat
