Exhibitions

From art shows to group or solo exhibitions, I believe that the final step in the creative process is when the work is seen through the eyes of the viewer. Each individual experiences the work via their own lens, their perception shaped by personal history.

This is particularly the case for abstract art, where there are few recognisable subjects, and the viewer is left with the quality of colour, the application of paint, tangible texture and distinct or muted values. One person’s experience is never the same as another’s, and this fascinates me.
