I recently had a few pieces being exhibited in the Glenside Lions Art Show, and was pleasantly surprised and ‘exuberant’ to receive a Highly Commended Award.
With over 450 works of art on show, I was honoured to be amongst the winners. There was lots of beautiful work to choose from! Presented by the Lions Club of Glenside, the proceeds from this annual event went towards Catherine House, a charity that supports women experiencing homelessness – a very worthwhile cause indeed.

If you live in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide, you may have seen my picture in the local paper, the Adelaide East Herald, along with a little story about the Glenside Art Show. It was already a very good week, and the call from the reporter really topped it off. Needless to say, I’m very grateful to the Glenside Lions Club and the Adelaide East Herald for the opportunity. It has been a wonderful experience to be involved in this exhibition.
